True, but I didn't even mention Ellen or Neil. I was talking about Kara. Kara knows a lot more about music than J. Lo does.

First off I dont know what either knows about music that much. I do know they are both in the music world so Im sure they have their experience. What I am talkin about is kara's judging and how she speaks and how emotional she gets and hoe she always says "u arent believable" and thats why Simon would always clown her for saying dumb ish! Well see how J-Lo does but she cant be worse than Kara. Got Em!!

I used to watch this show. But I like Simon and his honesty. Don't care for Randy, JLO, and especially can't stand Tyler so I'll watch episode one and then decide from there.

I will be watching this whole season for one reason alone: Steven Tyler.

I was dying laughing tonight because of him

"Did you eat a lot of paint chips as a kid?"

If there happens to be good singers, cool. But he is my main reason for watching

I said the same of Ellen last year and she was great, but even she couldn't save that season.

I watched basically the second half tonight, it was OK, but it's..I dunno, not right, almost feels like a spin-off.

Yep...it wasn't firing on all four cylinders last night, I can see the ratings up for a few weeks and then slipping.

I was bored.

And, it was strange watching teens flirt with Tyler - and completely creepy when he flirted back. How many weeks until we see the first scandal?

I also didn't like how Tyler would sing with the contestants, or end on a highnote for them. Hope he stops that.

So far, not impressed and actually wouldn't watch it, but the wife wants to see it. So, looks like I'm stuck.

I'd never seen a single episode before last night and only tuned in because of Stephen Tyler, one of my all-time favorites but I couldn't believe how funny this show is. I never had an interest in it before when that obnoxious limey bastard or the drunk where on, but I might watch more. I also got a good laugh when that contestant was doing back flips in the hall and the camera man was down on the ground to get a good angle and the contestant landed feet first straight onto the camera, classic. But that Japanese guy was funny, and so very horrible.

The talent was severely lacking last year. The best were just "good". Notice how big the winner and runner up have been? Oh wait...

The early portions with auditions are GREAT TV for laughs

That camera part was hilarious, or when that chick fell down the stairs and crawled away.

The judges are surprisingly decent. This show needs a little Cowell though. But Tyler and Lopez are leagues better than Kara and Ellen (so far). The only downside is that the talent this season is underwhelming compared to the past. Not a single person they showed screams star so far.
