Default Fav Die Hard Movie?

This weekend I wached all 4 Die Hard movies from my collection I got in the mail last week. I was just wondering what your fav movie out of the 4 is? Mine would have to be #3.

The first Die Hard will always be my favorite. In my eyes, it's one of the most non-flawed action movies I've ever seen. I wouldn't change a thing about it. That's not counting the nostalgia factor either.

1.- Die Hard: Still great till this day.
2.- Die Hard 3: Mclaine and Zeus!!! Great action movie.
3.- Die Hard 4: Good movie, But i felt Mclaine was helding back a lot(nothing to do with R or PG13 rating, he just didnt seem like he was pissed at the world anymore)

4.- Die Hard 2: Besides THE LINE at the end of the movie, Worst one for me

Don't be such a douchebag.

Favorite was the first, followed closely by the 4th.

Have to say the first. As good as Bruce Willis was in it I doubt that there would be a franchise if Alan Rickman hadn't played the villain.

I'd have to go with the first, followed by 4, 3, and then 2 (which I still like quite a bit). I rate the whole series pretty high.

Talking The First One

I would have to pick the 1st Die Hard movie. I could watch it one over and over again. I like them all, but the 1st is a classic and belongs up there with "Lethal Weapon" and the 1st Rambo movie "First Blood", as Prime examples on how to make exciting action movies.

I enjoyed the Die Hard movie so much I went out and found the paperback the movie was based on, called: Nothing Lasts Forever (by Roderick Thorp). In the book John Leland (not McClane) is way older (think Barnaby Jones), and is visiting his daughter not his wife. The book rarely cuts away from the main character's point of view. Written way back in 1979.

But I have to admit I feel nostalgia for 2 cause it was on HBO every day when I was a kid.

3

I only really saw 1 & 2 in bits and peices, or if it was in its entirety, it was when I was younger and dont remember it much. But 3 is pretty much my perfect action movie. I'll sit down with 1 again one day soon to give it a proper watching. From what I remember of 2, I didnt like much of it, and probably wont bother with it.

I'm gonna have to watch all four again to determine which one looks best on bluray. By the movie itself, I would say part 1 & 2
