SKU = the number of bar codes in your collection, so not the true movie count.

This is an option for an upcoming feature. The new feauture (not online yet) will match your collection against all other members' collections and display the most similar matches. The idea is to find members with similar taste in movies and to recommend similar titles.

The option you see is "Exclude from Collection Matcher". The default is to include all titles in your collection, but if you think that a title isn't representative for your taste, you can check the "Exclude from collection matcher" and that title will be discarded when doing the matching.

We also plan to take some other variables into account, we have no idea how well this will work, but we think it will be very interesting

You couldn't see it before because it hadn't calculated your collection yet. It's still calculating and it takes quite a while to calculate all collections, but your collection is done now

Yes, i got mine private and it's compared. I don't mind to see ppl with similar tastes.
But, my collection is still private.

Members whose collections match well with yours will be able to see that they match with you, buy they won't be able to see your collection if it's private. Should we make it so your collection isn't shown in the Collection Matcher at all if it's private?

Actually it is using a "hidden" part of the site to determine matching, so for example if you own the German version of Avatar SteelBook (just an example) it will still be matched with the US versions, both the regular release and CE. Your movie taste is based on the actual movie, not the SKU/regional release/packaging.

(The hidden part of the site will go online publicly next year).
