Important Next-Gen Feature From Fox and Sony - Blu-ray Forum

I think the new most important feature from Fox and Sony are just coming to pass. How many of you have noticed the Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Superbad are not only COMPLETELY in HD, but the EXTRAS are also in 5.1 sourround sound @ 448kbps?!

That's frickin' AMAZING! I was SO happy to finally see that that I had to do the Jig (well, maybe not quite that happy, but I was close)! THAT'S what a next-gen dvd is suppose to have! I just had to share.

i think he means the extras are in high def and some have 5.1 oppossed to 2.0 sound

If they have the space on the disk there is no reason why they should not put as many things onto a disk as possible like 5.1 on the extras.
