Did anybody receive their order from Zavvi's deal? Or was it just a marketing trick to get more customers? I placed my order as soon as I saw the deal on October 3rd and after more than a month of waiting for it to ship, my order was cancelled today.

Hey, I haven't ordered, I can't spare anything at the moment, with all these pre-orders. I've wanted this for so long! It does say "usually dispatched within 4-5 days", so I'm not surprised if it has not shipped. These are probably last bits of stock, and they are trying to shift them.

i too now have had my order cancelled by Zavvi after 3 weeks of waiting and them telling me it was on special order.

i have emailed them saying they are a disgrace and my disgust at the situation

Got an email from Play today saying they have been unable to fulfill the £12.99 order.. (No suprise there then.. Though Im puzzled why first Zavvi then Play seemed to think they had so much (non existant) stock to sell off cheap..

It's the same version that's always been available. I don't know what director's cut they're referring to. In the extra features, they have a shot of Marion in her motel room getting undressed while Norman's watching her that was removed due to the censors, but that was never reinserted into the movie.
