They added the DVD of R.C.O.M. so I took it off for the time being. Will put it up closer to BD release date.

For value, the AK 100 set is great right now (with this B&N sale) if you are not into supplementals. For me, those Akira Kurosawa documentaries and interviews with him are too awesome to pass up so if you want those supplementals, you will definitely need to buy the Blu-rays and the other DVD's. But even if you go that route, you are still missing "Madayo" which is so far only in the AK 100 set.

Interesting...I'm a member of B&N and I'm supposed to get express shipping, but I have not yet received my order made on Nov. 1st and all items were available.

Then for my Nov. 2nd order, it arrived in Philadelphia on 11/3, arrived in California on the 3rd that evening (and figured I'm California, should receive it soon). Checked today and now it went from California back to Harrisburg, PA???? What the hell?

This is a first for me in receiving things late from B&N.

Is there some kind of case exchange for Benjamin Button like there is with some other criterion titles? I would love to have it match with my other gems.

It would be awesome if I could get the AK100 set with the current 25% off coupon.

Seems to me this would be an easy thing to provide, while being endearing for those hard-of-hearing, or those (like me) who have to keep things quiet because of roommates...
Mystery Train has both English Subs and English SDH subs for the entire film. Pretty sure its for all languages because I am sometimes hard of hearing and I watched mine with them on.

Thinking BN might screw me on shipping, I had Modern Times and NotH special ordered to the store.

Feeling torn about Antichrist. It's a film I admire a lot for the craft involved, but damn if it isn't the most frustrating movie ever on the storytelling standpoint. Guess I better make up my mind before the end of the month, as I already will be getting Modern Times, Night of the Hunter, and The Magician, plus a couple other non-criterion titles (Avatar Extended Edition, etc).

Some people are asking about the Benjamin Button case.
I want to go to Staples to print out the resized artwork I made many months ago, but I want to include art on the inside. Which one do you guys think will look best?

Why can't you? Have you called the stores? I picked one up this morning with the 25% coupon.

Really? So, you got an amazing deal: 50% Criterion sale + 25% coupon + 10% member discount?
If true...wow!

If you go into the store...yeah. But still, you may want to try it. There are two 25% off coupons available until the 14th.

But I tried online to use the coupons...none of them worked for me. I contacted B&N and all they told me was that coupon works on some items. So, maybe some coupons are e-mail targeted. I don't know...

Sadly..... I paid way too much....... 50% off, + 25% off coupon..... and I'm not a member

I'm not complaining

As far as packaging for the BBS..... I think Criterion has been leaking them here and there..... but I don't know if a complete packaging spread (like DVDBeaver does, inside, etc.) has been done yet.....
