They refunded £5 on my card. I couldn't believe the price of £14.99, I was expecting to pay at least £18 for it.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

& i thought the LTD EDITION was expensive.

Was browsing on ebay and noticed the linked item - there are apparently some 3D promotional copies of Avatar - no artwork, no case, just the disc and someone has paid......£223.53 (and the seller even charged £1 p&p) - that is CRAZY money for one film!!! seeing as though the going rate for a 3D bluray is only around £25 (as a combi pack) i do not see how someone could pay this much....unless they are megarich perhaps...

Who cares if his grammar wasn't spot on? Time to get down from the ivory tower, his post was what mattered and what he was saying was more than understandable.

I wasn't expecting to be pulled up by the grammar police.

What a fool. I could fake a disc and an account, sell it, get the money, get banned and never come back.

On that note time to put up my Avatar 3D copy.

Sorry to hear that. Welcome to the club.

My second order has just dispatched from Play. I'm wondering why I've even bothered.

Be aware of number 509 aswell, the Avatar Exclusive Collectors "FOOTBALL" Edition.

Play can do one, mine going back for refund.

Good luck with getting a mint one mate.

So it's the same artcards that were in the preorder steelbook several months back?

Thank you. You've just saved me from double dipping at Tescos (I have the preorder steelbook from several months ago, and the korean steelbook incoming from K2DVD) to get the artcards.

Now, when my korean extended edition steelbook arrives, I can sell the old steelbook to someone who doesn't know any better and keep the lenticular artcards that came with it.

That is the laziest fake disc I have ever seen.

I am helping, go back to school. If you write like this on important documents you'll have no chance. Silly mistakes like "costume" instead of "customer" need to be sorted now before it gets any worse. I appreciate you had good intentions but please help your fellow poster by not making us strain.

This is the internet. You do not need to be so serious all the time.

Chill out every once in a while.

Lukesablade made his point quite clearly, and you are jumping on him for 1 spelling mistake and grammatical errors? You're telling him to take literacy lessons. May I suggest that you take lessons in manners?

Thanks for the info & pics of the 'Tesco edition'. Not sure I can be bothered to trek out to a Tesco near me that might actually stock it just for those, though if I happen to come across it in one of the smaller stores I do frequent I may be tempted!

On another note, I wonder just how many copies Play have had returned, and what they'll end up doing with them all. Leave it on sale til they're all gone to people who don't mind the bashes, I guess.

You can make them but I wont be taking them. Telling a fellow poster to smarten up is fine, especially when I'm having to decipher the meaning of what that poster is trying to put across. It may be an internet forum but trust me you don't just suddenly lose your spelling and grammar because its an internet forum.

Normally I don't correct people's spelling & grammar online -- yes, it irritates me, but it always leads to arguments like this. But if you're going to criticise others you might want to keep a closer eye on your own:

"but I won't be taking"
"an Internet forum"
"because it's an Internet forum"
