Help me choose! - Blu-ray Forum

I am thinking of buying one of these games. I would like to hear the opinions of those that own these games. Things I consider is length, difficulty, fun factor, and replayability. If there is another game that you guys thinks is a must have let me know about those as well. Thanks.

1. Call of Duty 4
2. Assassins Creed
3. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
4. Dirt
5. Warhawk
6. Need for Speed ProStreet

Of those I'd choose Uncharted.

As for a game not listed I'd recommend Rock Band.

Rock band would be fun, but I would probably be the only one playing most of the time. It seem like a game you need to play with someone else.

I've bought COD4: (no replayability unless you play it online), Uncharted

fun, but cant see myself playing again. Doesnt live up to Indiana jones and the emperors tomb for xbox

) And Warhawk. Which I bought when it first came out and I still play it. It's awesome! Every time you play it, it's going to be different because its online and you play different people/levels all the time. Hmmmm, might go play it now.

I wasn't too impressed with the Uncharted demo, but then I never have really liked the console shooter interfaces.

Heard good things about Assassins Creed, but haven't played it myself.

ProStreet's pretty good at first impression (not too far into it). Not being able to steer with motion control is rather disappointing though - drifting in Carbon on the Wii feels much better but there could be differences in the games themselves too.

Dunno about the others you listed.

Heavenly Sword was great. Not so replayable, really, unless you're going for the unlocks.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Best PS3 game ever. (That I've played.)

That aside, check out youtube for game reviews.

Warhawk does seems like a game I would like.

I didn't even think about Lego Star Wars. I might check out some screen shots/videos and read some reviews on it. Thanks for the tip.

I think Guitar Hero 3 is better then Rock Band

COD 4.

I have this for the 360 and the two times I have played it was really fun. Between work and house remodel - don't play much of anything.

This one has been high on my list.

I know how you feel about not having time to play. I just got done building my entertainment center. I'm not starting another project til after the new year. Then I have to move in April then again in October.

I'm in the Military and just found out about 2 weeks ago that I have to go to training for six months. I will have to move to go to the base where I will have my training then move to a new base once I'm finished with training. My wife isn't too happy about it. I'm not too happy about it either, my wife is in college and my oldest daughter is in school too. I hate to move them around so much. Kinda sucks.

Blah. My "dad" was in the military and we had to move around alot. I hated it for obvious reasons.

What branch are you in? You must be young. 20's/30's maybe?

United States Air Force...Both my wife and I are 26.

She's having a harding time with this move. She likes the area we are at, she made alot of friends that she is close to. She also doesn't want to move from our house, since its our first house and we had it built new.

Ah yeah. That is going to be very hard. Hope things work out. I guess, if the money is good - all is well?

If I were older when we were moving around I would have thought it would be cooler because I would get a "fresh start" every time we moved. Some people don't like that.

Thanks. Things will work...they always do. It might just take some getting used to.
