Again, like the LOTR trilogy individuals, one spine per language (1 Eng, 1 French). The back covers are French as well, so all extras/specs are advertised underneath the unshrinkwrapped slipcovers. You can thank Alliance for these.

I kinda find them ugly myself, yes. The slip literally has a pic of the blu-ray case you're buying underneath it, just odd.
Thanks for the post I like the slips also hopefully i can find them im not really a fan of alliance

Who knows though if Amazon.ca ships with the slipcovers though. The covers underneath the slips are the original posters/DVD covers that we were used to for so long, & not the covers from the slim-cased discs in the trilogy box set.

If they're newly released separately, I'm guessing the titles still ship with slipcovers. I just hope I'm right because I don't think I can find the slipcovers alone.

WAY overpriced. You can get the movie + The Making Of Avatar, which is alot bigger then the one in the box, seperately for under half of what the box costs.
I got the book and it's really great You lose out on the cheap filmcell with scanned autograph and the box but, to me, they aint worth that kind of money.

Slipcover thrown? So why was it posted here in the slipcover list and discussion thread?

Does everyone feel the need to inform us on the slipcovers they destroy?

Thanks man! I think I'll pass on the slips . They should have made them with just the movie's name like a normal spine.

Please. They look pretty good on the shelf. Much nicer than the gold slips IMO.

I figure they will either rerelease everything again with these slips or discontinue them all together. That's Sony for you. I'm not surprised that the only ones I saw in stores today, like others on this site, were the Spiderman films. Sony slips are not usually as easy to find as Disney, WB, or Universal.

Wow, damn! I'm not a member so I didn't bother playing the coupon game. I checked online and with the library link they'd come to $18 per. Just not sure if I want to play the Criterion game.

Yes, I didn't get number 12 yet.

Does anyone know if Disney WOW: World of Wonder has a slipcover? It's not in stock any longer at Amazon!
