What kind of house remodel have you been doing? Eventhough my house is new, I remodeled the kitchen and the bathrooms. I enjoy doing that stuff. Like I mentioned before, I just finished building an entertainment center. It was the first piece of furniture that I've built. It was fun. I want to build more, but when I have time.

Everything. Kitchen was 100% re-done. All bathrooms re-done. Downstairs master bedroom/bathroom added. Downstairs den re-done.

Major stuff. It's actually driving me mad. There are some minor things like crooked doors and trim that piss me off. Having to baby sit people that I hire to make sure they do their job right. Annoys me to all hell. What can I say - the world is not what it used to be.

Sounds like alot of work. I'm really picky about all my stuff too. That's probably why I do the work myself. If I mess up its my own fault(we all know that doesn't happen though...LOL). I don't want to pay someone to leave something crooked or not right.

It is a lot of work. Spent 45k so far. The end is nearing for the money side. Just hope everything comes in on budget.

I do work sometimes but most times I don't because I hate when things are not perfect. If something is off, I will notice it every time I look at it and that is all I will see. Will drive me crazy.

Hopefully it gets done without breaking the bank.

Its funny because I'm the same way. I notice the imperfections and that is all I see too. Just do what I do...make it pefect the first time around.

1. Call of Duty 4
2. Assassins Creed
3. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
4. Dirt
5. Warhawk
6. Need for Speed ProStreet
Because you placed Call of Duty 4 on the top of your list, it might suggest that you probably want that one.

But I have both COD3-COD4 and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and I'd have to confidently say Uncharted is my favorite of the two, despite COD4 having a higher rating in metacritic.

Perhaps COD4 is a blast to play online, but I wouldn't know because I've never played online before. So far, I've been a single player gamer. And I can say that Uncharted is the best single player game I've played in a long time. It's probably the only game that's made me not only sit through the entire game for at most five hours, but also it's the only game that makes me so addicted that I'd replay it right after just beating it. That's saying alot when you consider how long the game really is.

With Uncharted, you might be amazed that it feels more like a fun adventure with a group of friends rather than a video game. You can call it a movie or a novel, but most likely, you'll feel that it's more than just a game.

And the graphics, especially on Chapter 13, will knock your socks off. This is the one game that convinced me that this console is the most powerful.

I don't even care about multiplatforms anymore, even if they're identical to the xbox360's graphics. Looking at Motorstorm, then Resistance, then Ratchet, and now Uncharted, I strongly prefer PS3 exclusives. There aren't much compromises in game length, color palette, number of objects moving onscreen independantly or randomly or simulataneously, and so on, with these exclusives. Because exclusives and multiplatforms cost nearly the same at $59.99, the exclusives seem to offer more bang for the buck for me.

Game preferences:

I'd recommend Uncharted, if and only if, we share the same taste in games. For me, I felt that COD4 was an extremely fast paced hand-eye-coordination test/examination/drill to see how well I aimed the reticle because I felt no emotional involvement with the story. But maybe that's because I was really unhappy on the day that I played it, and that emotion seeped into the game. (This is my first impression of the game on the first playthrough on a bad day. My second playthough should be more accurate of how I will feel about the game. After all, I was upset with Ratchet when I first played it. Now, it's one of my favorites).

I tend to really enjoy slow paced games like GRAW2, Uncharted, and Ratchet where you have the option to slow your pace down to a crawl and exam each level as carefully as you want before moving on. I never liked games such as Sonic the Hedgehog where you're rushed through each level without even seeing what was going on. And COD4 was kind of like that, as if someone was yanking me from one place to another, not even letting me catch my breath. On the other hand, Resistance can be a fast run and gun game, but it never really felt pushy to me. There was always a sense of exploration in Resistance where you're kind of encouraged to peruse an area or to take your time, if you want. And I liked that. I never felt as if a time constrained tour guide was hurrying me along from one site to another during a vacation. I could lazy around, you know? But some people might find that boring, so I'd advise Uncharted only if we share the same tastes in games.

On your list, I was only intrigue by COD4, Uncharted, and Assassin's Creed. I then bought COD4 based on the review scores and word of mouth. I bought Uncharted because I simply KNEW that it was my kind of game from watching the video clips of it. Assassin's Creed captured my attention only because of the hype, but I never felt anything for it based on the video clips and left it at that.

In the past, you see a lot of people trying to sell the xbox360 by touting Gears of War and other xbox360 AAA titles such as Bioshock or Halo 3. But those reviews really don't mean much to me. I mean, why would I buy an xbox360 if I don't like Gears of War or Bioshock? Because other people like it?

Had I bought the xbox360, to me, it would've been the console with no games because I wouldn't buy any of those games. In fact, they're availble for the PC and -- guess what? I didn't buy those games to play on my PC either.

(And the negative attitudes from the xbox360 people really didn't help either. xbox360 people would make lousy salespeople if they think that they can convert SonyFanboys into XBOX360 fanboys or increase sales for the xbox360 by being rude and dirty. When I see an xbox360 or Gears of War in store isles, I immediately think of the xbots and their insults. And then I immediately feel hatred for that console and game. And guess what? Hatred isn't the right emotion to make me want to buy and xbox360 or Gears of War even as a gift for someone else. Seriously, the more they continue their crude method of fanboyism, the more likely that people will view the console negatively and avoid buying it. Would you want to buy a car if the car salesman is rude to you, constantly talking trash to your wife and your current car or your kids or you? I doubt it. You'd probably walk away.

And if they're just malicious by birth and want to instill pain in the people, they're really not helping Microsoft's public image with such attitudes, either. Microsoft and most corporations would prefer a positive image, not anti-social or verbally violent behaviors associated with the xbots. Microsoft, by association with these xbots trying to promote the xbox360 informally online, has tarnished its reputation and image somewhat from what it used to be, it seems. For instance, you take Hillary Clinton and then take photographs of her only with gang members riddled with tattoos and piercings in the background and eventually, there will be a bad association to her somewhat, right?).

Yes, I own shares of stock in Microsoft.

I’ve bought all of these titles except for dirt, which I downloaded the demo for and hated it. Having experienced all of these games though, if you can only buy one ,I would narrow the choices down to two: Uncharted and Call of Duty 4 and flip a coin Literally because you can't go wrong with either of these.Peace

1. Uncharted if you're looking for a regular non-online game
2. Warhawk if you want a great online game...

Looks like most of you feel like Uncharted and COD4 are one of the best games for the PS3. I've pretty much narrowed it down to the following in no particular order.

1. Uncharted
2. COD4
3. Assassin's Creed

I might just get two of them...I still don't know which title to take of the list. I will buy all of them eventually, but I'm just not sure which one I want first.

I only have Uncharted of the ones listed, but it is an awesome game! Plenty of replayability, great controls, and a solid plot, 2 thumbs up!

"Hello" The first thing , THANK YOU for protecting and working hard to keep our country free and safe, I as a citizen of the U.S.A want to thank you for it.

Now you are looking for a great game, I can highly recommend Assassins Creed. It is a great game and I truthfully think it got robbed in IGNs score. It has great graphics, fun game play and it's some what replayable just depends on what type of games you like. Plus if im not mistaking I think it's the longest game on your list as well.

I'd rate Uncharted : Drake's Fortune above Assassin's Creed. Both have stunning visuals, but Uncharted is just a slicker, more polished product (and doesn't have some of the flaws of AC).

Rock Band deserves another mention here. You don't need friends to play - the online function is quite good (and I'll disagree with one of the previous posters and say that Rock Band is way more fun than Guitar Hero 3 in almost every way unless you're into speed-hammering on a guitar controller instead of actually playing along with the music).

Really, though, you can't go too far wrong with either Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare or Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. As a member of our (much appreciated indeed!) United States military, you may find that Call of Duty 4 resonates well with you - there's a lot of attention to detail in the game, from the way you reload weapons to the tactical gameplay. Uncharted also features some very strong tactical gameplay, but from a more cinematic viewpoint.

YAY! I'm in the Air Force too! I recommend Uncharted but I am a little biased because I'm not a big fan of FPS. I beat Uncharted twice and still had fun with it the second time around.

I don't recommend Assassin at all. I have the game, but I have to force myself to play it. The graphics are awesome but between the load times and doing the same stuff over and over, it just isn't worth it.
