That was the green price sticker. It looked like there was an original white sticker but it had been pulled off.

While Walmart Canada sucks ass at not matching their own advertised prices, Walmart.ca just upgraded their entire site and it actually looks like a real site now and the price is listed as $9.83 on there. So technically, you can go to Best Buy, price match it, and get it for less.

is RAMBO extended cut worth upgrading? caz i was thinking about trading my original Rambo 4 (2 disc blu ray) at blockbuster for $5..... and picking up the extended cut

ps. also on the bluray.com review it said the extended cut was 25GB disc and the original is on 50gb disc
(with apparently better video quality)

I read an article from one of the producers and he said the new extended cut was more of an addition to the initial release instead of replacing it. He viewed having both as having a complete set.

The extended cut only has the deleted scenes from the first release added back into the film. Some for better, some not so much. There's a doc on the disc that's pretty good but otherwise there's no additional action or carnage.

If you're a fan of Rambo, & have only seen/owned the theatrical. The extended is interesting enough for a $10 purchase. I'm pleased to own both.

Yeah, I just bought 'The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans' for $9.83 too. Its $31.99 at Amazon.ca and $32.99 at BB so thats a first-rate deal.

I personally felt that the extended version of the film was a lot more cohesive and delved into Rambo's character better. Personally enjoyed this Cut a lot more. So does Stallone. He considers this the preferred and correct version of his film to watch. Its a must own for any fan of the Rambo series.

Tonight at Walmart in Ottawa, I got Prestige for 9.99 (was 30 at HMV), and Bridge Over River Kwai for 19.99.

They had a few xmas movies, like An Christmas Story, and The Grinch for just under 17$ too.

Picked up POSEIDON for $9.83 today at my local Wal-Mart here in PEI. Haven't seen it on our racks before until today at that price.

Went to Wal-mart tonight, found The Last Airbender single disc edition. All on shelves priced at $26.93 rang up as such. However I found two copies that had a white-sticker price tag on them for $25.65 took an unmarked one to the cash, had him ring it up. Came up as $26.93. Showed him the other two marked as $25.65 and told him about the SCOP (he knew nothing about it until he read the little doohicky on the till. Must be new) and he took an extra $10 off the price.

Got it for $17 with tax!

i just had an issue with packs of cards i bought for 2.00 that rang in at 4 something....i mentioned i would get one of them for free (because its under 10.00)...they argued it...i wasnt going to argue over 2.00 in the end however so i just paid for them...glad i didnt just walk out of there mad without buying them because i pulled a Crosby signed card which has gone straight to my personal collection

I think I seen the most stupid thing today. I went to wal-mart. The last air bender bluray ( 1disc) was 25.65 but it's scanned at 26.** The supervisor talked to the cashier. She told the cashier to sell it to me for 10$ instead of deducted 10 $ off. I walked out wal-mart with this bluray for only 11.**

It's really weird that a supervisor was not able to apply correctly SCOP.

The SCOP is only for items that are not stickered and there's a ad/sign/shelf tag with a lower price on in in the store.

That's why I took one of the NON stickered blu's to purchase, and only SHOWED the cashier (who knew nothing about the SCOP anyway) the stickered ones, to avoid the whole "doesn't apply because it has a sticker price" thing. lol

at least according to their flyer.

$34.99 at Zellers. Might be a combo pack/single disc matter though....
