does anyone have any reviews or comments about the panny plasma they have paired with this BD player?

is this tv HDMI 1.3v?

Best Buy is already doing the Panasonic Plasma+BD30 bundle this week.
Basically, buy some specific models of Panny Plasma TV's, buy a BD30 and get $499 off, which basically pays for the player.

Let's hope they are not dual format players. Those things do more harm than good.

Sharp, Pioneer and Sony should all be doing similar deals.

As you saw this past Black Friday...HDTV's are flying!
Minas well pair them up with a BR player and our installed base will go up exponentially.

I may have to buy another Bravia if they do.

Yes, thats what i said right before your post. if you buy the panny 42" or 50" pz77u models and a panny bd30 player you get another $499.99 for the bubdle purchase, which to me is a smoking deal that i may have to do. the 50" panny plasma is also $400 of of $2799 which makes it $2399 for the plasma and the bd30 panny player

please dont twist my arm!!!

i think i will got at lunch time to check it out and see of they are in stock or not.

do you think BB will except a 10% off coupon of the tv to save even more? like another $240 off. i dont know if they will do that or not??

ya this could potentially be a devastating blow to HD DUD sales this quater
lets hope so because i am ready for blu to just crush HD and be done with it so we can get all the other movies not on blu yet.

GO BLU!!!!!!

From Panasonic? Highly unlikely.

Panasonic will definitely not be announcing dual format players at CES.

Some pretty good deals going around here. Maybe other manufacturers will also try this sales idea.

Pretty fired up about the 2 new Panny units. I think they've made the best BD standalones so far. Just waiting for a 2.0 unit from them which also has DTS-MA on board (and bitstream) so I have all of my bases covered. Don't care how much it costs.
