oh man, i snagged 1 and 2 for like 50 bucks used from gamestop with my 10% off card.....im about 2.5 hours into 1 and it flows so well.....its not frustrating like NG and its more fluid than HS.......after playing God of War it makes HS look like crap, imo......im embarrassed it took me this long to play these games.......ive gone back and beat Shadow of the Colossus, working on God of War and gonna start FF XII pretty soon......i never had a PS2

thats funny, I bought my PS3 just to play GOW and GOW2. I never owned a PS2 either

I picked up God Of War 2 for 25 bux at target this week, it was on special. Rather pay 5 bux more for the original cover vs the ugly as sin red Platinum Hits cover once it hits 19.99. And yah, God of War 1 and 2 are just absolutely ASTONISHING games. Really, good luck finding games with production values like this. Once this sucker hits the PS3, it will be the biggest system seller of this gen, bigger then metal gear IMHO.

could care less what the box art looks like. i don't look at the box, i look at the game whilst playing.

besides, that extra 5 bucks is a 6-pack of beer for me to enjoy while playing the game.

My OCD does not compute =)

Also, i printed out perfect covers to replace all my platinum hits covers of used games i got (Final fantasy X, Final Fantasy 12, etc). I couldnt stand looking at red/black in my ps2 section.

If it does, 2008 is going to be the year that Sony *****slaps microsoft like no other. MGS4, Killzone 2, 2 different SOCOM games, Wipeout HD, God Of War 3, Resistance 2 and who knows what else. Will be amazing!
