Hey all! I dunno if we have toched on this issue (that and i am lazy and dont want to fish through all 1000+ posts) but i am having Network Error messages pop up. It started after i updated Assassins Creed to 1.10 (i think thats the new version). Now i can play Warhawk for aabout 20 min before the network takes a crap and i get the error message. This has never happened previously.

Ideas, Suggestions, anyone else having this issue?!

I don't have Assassins Creed, and am not experiencing this issue. You could always try deleting the AC file and play WH if it does not go away then you can look elsewhere.

I once had Warhawk stop working. Basically, it wouldn't load up right.

I deleted it, downloaded it again and reinstalled it. Worked great after that.

But thanks fot the team play the other day! I was seriously having to pull the n00b team... then out of nowhere i see you come flying in! I was like "Thank god for Back-Up when you need it most!"

But seriously... any thoughts on where to look for answers for this? I dont know if its the router or what. Kinda pissed that it keeps doing "network error" thing. Was kicking ass at lunch today and it did it to me again....

I got booted out of the game on Sunday. Due to a network error. Only I couldn't sign back into PSN at all. After a bit of investigation I found that my PC wouldn't get on the net either, even though my router said it was connected. I unplugged everything and went to the pub. Everything worked fine on Monday. I'm in the UK using VirginMedia Broadband. Its crap. I'm paying for 4mb now, but never get transfers faster than 400kbps (and thats using lightning download). I'm considering changing providers.

I had this problem after the update 2.00 (I think) - Warhawk got disconnected, had to sign back in, etc. - then they did the small 2.01 update, and for the most part I haven't had an issue with connectivity anymore. I had heard at the time that the 60 gig was the most effected by that update. (That's what I have).

Since your issue came up after the updates - I would lean more towards an outside source. What is your "signal strength" showing on the PS3? Is it much lower than normal?

Ok guys, Warhawk just showed up in my mailbox today and tried it out finally. Ive never played the game before, but jumped into the game blind and before i knew it, had 20+ kills in no time. The game is awesome, love the flow of it, love the wealth of weapons everywhere and love how its 3rd person (my fav shooter of all time is Gears of War). So with that said, i could definitely use some training from someone who wants to help me get better at this game. And add me to your friends lists!!! blitz6speed is my PSN name. I would love to see how good the Blu-Ray.com team is =)

My advice would be to look for games Cymbol is in and get on the other team. Just look for the tank sitting there trying to shoot a Warhawk out of the sky.

The best way to get better is to just play. Knowing and doing are two different things.

Oh, don't waste your mines by putting them on the flag if you're playing CTF. Just about anyone who has been playing more than 12 minutes knows to look for mines before snatching. And don't put them too close together, because they have a nice trigger radius and you don't want someone triggering one mine, but destroying others in the process.

BTW, you can only set 4 mines. If you do more, your previous ones disappear.

I usually set up a server so feel free to jump in anytime... my psn is copassatguy. You could also see if there any spots left on the clan if you wanted to join by pming CYMBOL. Then when you join you tk him too

Copy gave you some good advice on mines, but I would also try placing them in different spots because they attach to almost anything. Place them on ceilings, walls, etc. where people are likely to walk by or through.

By the way - if you decide to join the Blu-Clan (PM me on this site if you're interested) - there are a couple of rules:

1. The first rule about the Blu-Clan is - You do not TEAMKILL the Clan Leader!
2. The second rule about the Blu-Clan is -You do not TEAMKILL the Clan Leader!
3. The third rule abou the Blu-Clan is - You do not encourage other Blu-Clan members to TEAMKILL the Clan Leader!

Not sure how these 3 rules have been forgotten recently.

Hey, it works . . . . sometimes. . . . especially against new guys.

Actually, I had my favorite Warhawk kills yet.

On the Destroyed Capital City - I spawned next to the mines (my favorite place to spawn on that site). I grabbed my mines only to find a Warhawk waiting for me - I hid in the corner as he tried to kill me with missles, obviously he ran out and tried the machine gun, I jumped down and into a jeep which he kept hitting and overturning - finally I got out and he fills my entire screen trying to get right up to me with machine guns going . . . I finally got annoyed and threw a mine at him, landed right on the plane with a metallic thump and BAM! He blew to smitherines right in front of me. That was one satisfying kill.

Then I went and got in a tank.

How did i get drawn into that first part? I know the rules dont apply to Copy, Colorado, and myself. but the three of us do offer up some good advice when asked by people new to the game. so you make be quiet!!!

btw: killing the clan leader is extremely gratifying!! I knew i shoulda stayed on the other team and went strait for CYMBOL on Sunday. I wont lie, the thought crossed my mind, but then Id hafta deal with Copy trying to get to him and Colorado sniping me...very leathal together....toss me into the mix and its a world of pain for the other team (if there are no connection issues)

Don't let CYMBOL fool you... there are 2 things you need to know:

1) He is all talk.
2) He liks getting TEAMKILLed.

Also, regarding tanks killing Warhawks... the other day I was playing CTF and making the LONG LONG journey from one end of Eucadia to another in a tank. Just for fun, I saw a Warhawk and put my aim near him. He was flying fast, but in a straight line... I fired, and BOOM... first shot, nailed him.

I can honestly say it was all luck.

If you ever get into sniping, one thing is always key to survival. Shoot, move, shoot, move. If you miss on the first shot, chances are some one definitely saw the bullet trail and will be coming for you one way or another. There are many many awesome sniping spots on every stage. They arent hard to find, but you need to be a bit clever in remaining hidden so opposing snipers dont come looking for you. Another thing. to stay off radar when your moving, equip the knife to make it harder for the enemy to track your movements.

Oh, i have the color layouts finally. it took me a bit because I had to really tweak them to get it perfect. I also have the customizable items that come close to the colors. but im at work so yall gotta wait til i get home around 7pm est.
