I take it you're unfamiliar with Intel's track record when it comes to CPU revisions? It's one of the reasons why many PC enthusiasts and overclockers stick with AMD, i.e. they don't pull this stunt every few months with their product lines.

Every few months? socket 1366 (and 1156)came out in 2008. so if its 2011 for its replacement thats 3 years, which isnt that bad.
