i will buy them seperately also, i have never liked boxed sets like this. I have years 1-4 on dvd, bought as a boxed set, I took out the movies and placed on my shelf and through away the box. It's nice looking though but I will buy set when all 7 have been released.

I have my trunk laying horizontally, with the lid open. I then stand all the disc cases up and lean them back angled against the upper lid. This way, you can flip through them and find the one you want. Takes up a lot more room this way, but it looks nice, and it sure beats having to open it up every time.

Not really !
Then again, over here we have a simple box (not the nice red box you have in America). so I ditched my box and just kept the discs in their separate form to go with the rest of my collection

You know what I just realized ... you can put 2 blu-ray discs with cases into this thing and still have room to spare. Thus when 6 & 7 come out on Blu I will simply add them into this impressive case. Don't need to have them separate.

And who knows, maybe WB will produce special book like cases for 6 & 7 to add to this gift-set. You never know. Kind of like them offering the gift case for LOTR's series. After they all came out. That would be awesome.

I don't give a crap about how it matches everything else, I basically bought this BECAUSE of the packaging. I'm a graphic designer myself, and it's a remarkable set.

The Mrs. loved the packaging and can't wait to have a moments peace (we have a 4 y.o. rug rat running around most of the time) to watch some of the discs in order. She literally gasped when she opened the collector book marks. She was WOW'd

Can someone who's got the box pictured above please post the measurements? I'm curious as to just how big or little that thing is.

The WB store has yet to ship my order.

+1 I'd certainly appreciate that as well. I like the idea of the collector's box but it'd be nice to have the standard case option available for the cost of some ink and replacement cases.

Seconded... I saw the set at the store and it would NOT look good on my shelf. Not to mention it throws uniformity out of whack. And also keep in mind that there's two other movies on the way! Big box + 2 regular BD cases... Not for me!

I like that when the box is set on its side it is very similar to the width of other blu-rays on the shelf.

I have lots of special packaging for DVDs that I have to store seperately because they are completely abnormally shaped.

I just bought the first film from Amazon.ca so I can have the correct version. Philosopher's Stone and not the Americanized crap. I hate that.

Anyone want to trade their individual cases for the set's cases plus a fee?
