I dont know if any of you wonderful guys and women out there would know the answer, but my ps3 does not play movies anymore!!!

I just got troy from the BOGO @ amazon....WEEEEELLLL when i went to play it...the option doesnt even come up under the video section...NOTHING!!!! all i get is 'search for mdeia servers'..... I NEED HELP!!!! PLEASE!!! ANYONE!!! ANYONE AT ALL!!!!!!

HA HA... nope...still no worky...i had the ps3 on its side and laying flat..to no avail....

your optic might be damaged. Did you over-use it? I've heard that the optic can melt. (I'm serious) - although never heard such case on PS3s

This happened to me, about two weeks after purchasing my PS3. Had to send it to sony, and they send me a replacement.
