Actually, a lot of them aren't. I'm convinced a good bunch of them barely know how to plug something into a wall.

I've never seen such an influx of ignorance, stupidity, and cheapskatisms en masse until this whole "format war" started and some of these people jumped on the HD-DVD bandwagon last March.

There's some of them that I'm convinced are posting on the Internet during the hour of free time you get on good behavior either out of a jail or a nuthouse.

Go into that propoganda thread I made in the Off Topic area. Those guys are a random case in point of what I'm talking about.

What thread shows everyone is a snapshot of what it looks like when "Joe Six Pack" laps up the Kool Aid from these deliberate liars I'm referring to.

They simply are annoying to those who disagree with them. Let's face it, we don't get upset with some of the BD fanboys who occasionally go way over the top too.

Yes, but what's more than annoying is to see people deliberately lie and misinform others.

That's indicative of at least one, if not several, critical character flaws in a person that are downright worthy of contempt. It goes way past being "annoying."


Yes, I've seen some BD fanboys that have annoyed me, but let's face it: The facts are, and have been, on their side since day one. The only time they got tripped up was when BD fumbled out of the gate in the early goings.

I honestly haven't seen any BD fanboys outright lie or try to misinform others yet. Maybe I've missed it...

The thing here is, instead of swaying opinion as they did before, now the HD DVD fanboys are looking rather pathetic.

BD supporters were saying "Wait for the PS/3, wait for the other players, wait until you see the flood of content, and wait for the 50GB discs". We were right. Now the HD DVD crowd have taken up the same cry.

Problem is, it makes them look like massive hypocrites to have slander us.

They are hypocrites, and other things that are probably even worse, for doing more than just this, but yes, you are correct.
