Solid. Now all we need are RAD, Gleaming the cube, north shore, thrashin, and of course the pinnacle of film making: AIRBORNE... I would buy any and all of those in a second.

Is the blu a sizeable jump over the dvd? Saw the dvd at a used bookstore for only about $3 and this blu's fairly pricey for a catalog title.

Not sure about the dvd, but I own the blu ray and it looks great. Really grainy in some of the night scenes, but otherwise really good.

I just picked up Thrashin on DVD for $0.49 at a local pawn shop a month ago! I used to watch Gleaming the Cube constantly as a kid and actually just watched my DVD of it last week. Airborne is another classic, you'd think since it had Jack Black in it, they could use him to market it all ready. If I remember correctly his name was Auggie, but NOTHING beat Seth Green's crazy hair in that movie.

What about "The Dirt Bike Kid"? I religiously watched it along with "BMX Bandits" and "Rad". 80's bike movie box set?

First review I've come across for "BMX Bandits". It sounds promising. Severin Films' website has the Nicole Kidman interview feature up on their site.
