That's true. But, aside from the Resident Evil name on it, it's just your typical zombie, virus, conspiracy movie. The reason I always wished it had, somewhat followed the plot of the first game was because that game could have made a cool, original story. Abandoned in the middle of nowhere in a huge mansion, with huge, underground labs and, secret passages, etc, etc... The movies just turned out to be "shoot em up" zombie movies. Which, is fine, but why even slap the Resident Evil name on them if you're going to stray so far from the games? Without fans of the games, you have nothing, and no reason to make the movies. Then, you go and change everything around as much as possible and just slap the name on it. Doesn't really make sense to me.

For people who've never seen it, you should check out Resident Evil: Degeneration. Doesn't follow the games to a T, but does everything way better than the live action movies did, story-wise.

And maybe it's just me, but Milla just doesn't do anything for me. It's probably because I prefer women who don't have the figure of a teenage boy.
