If there was anything else on that list I wanted, I would have gotten the Coraline GS.


Any idea if the Coraline 3D slip will fit over the regular slip?

The 3D version has a slip? AFAIK it's a standard sized BD case.

I just wanna point out. WTF is up with all the stupid stickers being put on the slip covers. Best Buy and Fry's sticks the stupid price stickers on them. Then you get the other advertisements on there about digital copy and cinema now. They are tacky... Then if you try to peel them off you get adhesive or half peeled stickers. WTF. Stop with the stickers. I like them clean... otherwise I end up throwing them in the garbage.. Anyone else find this annoying as ever??

The ones put on by the studio I never have problems with. They always peel off without leaving any residue or any part of the sticker.

However, Best Buy's stickers irritate me. Those you have to really get under the sticker and peel off really slowly, or you'll get nasty residue and a large part of the sticker staying on. I don't go to Fry's often enough to know if theirs are a problem.
I'll probably be going to them more often since Best Buy in general has been pissing me off a lot lately.

I'm quite the opposite. While store stickers are annoying, I leave on all factory stickers. If they are placed on the factory plastic, I either put them on the BD case itself, or cut around them, save them, and put them in the BD case.

The yellow Best Buy stickers were so easy to remove, although they did break apart. The white stickers are one of the worst I've seen.

Well, Best Buy is a store that sells products, and you can't sell the products without a price tag! I see it all the time, if a movie or CD doesn't have a sticker, we get asked how much it is. It's not Best Buy's fault. If people could read the stupid signs on the shelf, maybe they wouldn't feel the need to sticker these products.

And honestly, Best Buy, or any major retail chain, doesn't care about slipcovers and stickers. They sell the product, they slap a price tag on it for the consumer (not the collector)...end of story!

Actually, that's not entirely true. Target sells their Blu-rays without price tags, although they put them in security cases that sometimes ruins the slipcovers.

You are right about them not caring about the slipcovers and such. It is not a major issue though as I just use Goo Gone to get off any price stickers that don't come off cleanly. It's more just an annoyance. The only slipcover that the price tag has been an issue on is The Karate Kid, but I have another copy coming from Amazon today, so that will be fixed and I will just make a return to Best Buy.

Target may stock their items differently, but it doesn't mean they care about slipcovers, as they probably don't put stickers on normal shrinkwrapped BD cases either.

The thing that annoys me the most, and again, I blame the thieves who made it this way, is when you have a nice big box collector's edition of something, or a box set in general, and these items have the black "spider-wraps", as we call them, wrapped around so tightly that the packaging is crushed.

Battlestar Galactica The Complete Series, Star Trek film collection, both the Kirk collection and Picard's collection...generally anything over a certain dollar amount gets these wraps. Bourne box set, Spider-Man trilogy, etc.

i dont understand your obsession with the stickers.. can you please explain, because you cutting and placing in the case and what not is very extreme
