I see two ways for this to go:

1) match the contents (mood) of the breakfast food with the movie; or
2) go for cheap cereal box word play.

I like both ways, but 2) doesn't really rate the movie.

The things u pointed out also helped but to me it was just the best one overall so far as far as the whole film goes. Got Em!!
I liked the addition of the back stories as well. Unless I'm forgetting something, they haven't done one for Alice, which is a big surprise given the fact that she's such a big character in relation to Bella.

I very well may agree with you in the end, but I'm still going to reserve my decision for after another viewing of each movie. I haven't really had a problem with the pacing of any of the three movies, although I could understand why some would with New Moon. No matter what though, I thought Eclipse was solid. I think they handled a lot of the story well.

The scene with
[Show spoiler]Bella, Edward, and Jacob all in the tent together might have been my favorite of the whole movie. The conversation between Edward and Jacob was pretty good and it was a nice touch to see them actually get along even for only a short time.

Well, most of these are just jokes and not what I am suggesting.

Black Swan...

Now ponder:

1) what do the gentle folds of the crepe remind you of?
2) the colours are reminiscent of blood;
3) it's rich without being greasy;
4) it is an elite, classy breakfast.

That is a review food, not joke food.

I think it's funny that a picture of a crepe is considered a "spoiler" for the movie Black Swan. U just ruined the movie for everyone dude. Or i just did.
This thread is officially off the rails on a crazy train.

It really doesn't make any sense whatsoever does it? I was here during the maelstrom and even i'm not sure what was happening. I just went with it man.

I see you gave "Jesse James" a 4/5. You're coming around, aren't you?

It's all good. Your reasons make perfect sense.

It will probably be a while before I watch them all again, but if I remember to, I will post my order. I'm guessing that will happen sometime close to when I watch Breaking Dawn - Part 1.

Perhaps I should stop it

I can enjoy "awardy" films, loud 'splosion films and a lot of stuff in between

Coach Carter

  • 2005 | PG-13 | 136 Minutes

  • Director: Thomas Carter

  • Starring: Samuel L. Jackson

  • Drama | Sport

  • Previously Seen

Coach Carter (Jackson) comes in and takes over a local high school basketball team and strives to elevate them both on and off the court. He's met with resistance at every turn by staff, students, parents and the general public but he believes in what he is doing and wants to give the boys a shot at a better future.

You want an easy way to get a picture of the film in your head? Start with Remember the Titans. The movies aren't the same, but that's a good starting point of what to expect in the most general sense.

It's a pretty good movie but not as good as it could have been. It gives us glimpses of the players' lives outside of the gym but more of that (before and after Carter's influence on them) would have strengthened the film more. But as it stands it's by no means a weak film (imo).

Samuel L. Jackson is very good in his lead role as Carter. But the one I have to mention is Channing Tatum. I saw that this is his first major part and surprisingly his best. Was he anywhere near really good? No, not in the slightest. But I actually thought he sounded like he was a real person when he spoke in this part

Definitely not something I'd buy, but a film I have watched two or three times now.

Rating - 4/5
