Ken, I was considering buying a Sony SXRD but looking threw the manuals the only one that mentions 1080P/24 was the Sony front projector. Even the 70” rear projector mentioned 60HZ but never mentioned 24HZ. Are you sure your Sony BDP S1 is set for 1080p/24 and not 1080p/60? It would be awesome if the 2006 line of Sony rear projectors accept a 1080p/24 signal. Looking threw all the product specs and manuals Sony does not mention 1080P/24 for the SXRD rear projectors.
