seriously, take off the cover if you haven't or nothing will work.

I hooked my boss's system up via Optical Cable. He is using a PS3 and is a real audiophile. I explained the advantages of getting an HDMI capable receiver but he can not afford it now so I hooked up the optical for him. Will there be any problems with him running anything? He only has a 5.1 system on his TV, but I want to make sure his PS3 will still have sound for everything.
