I forgot who it was in this thread, but I believe that person get slips just by asking the workers if they could have them.

Some very nice people collect slipcovers for me, and I buy them at a very decent price. I've got mostly all the new ones covered I think, it's just the older slipcovers that are hard to find, since I got into the slipcover game late.

I wouldn't do that even if I was able to (I'm in Asia, no BB, Target, Walmart, FYE, Hastings, etc)

why did i get quoted for this post? lol i just said i bought a bunch of blus, not for the sake of slips, just because i can't resist deals

I'm pretty sure my local mom and pop shop still has a ton of Fred Claus w/ slip, new. I'll check it out tomorrow. I wonder if they have any other rare ones.

That would be me guilty as charged. I mean if they say no then it doesn't bother me and I don't press the issue further at the store. And in my neck of the woods I know people don't care about slipcovers that much. I've seen people buy them and then on the way out throw it in the trash can outside the store.

I have a friend that buys blu's and usually throws the slips away. I just got him to start saving them for me recently. He doesn't buy that many but if it has a slip I try to get it from him. (I know I'm shameless)

I was just trying to answer RJ Smoove's question

But there's nothing bad about getting free slips from stores if the workers allow you!

Pics of Monsters slip been posted? Here are some. First pic is good for first page, I reckon, so I'll PM it to Sharpy. Second pic, I tried getting the embossing on camera. Looks quite good, it's not heavily embossed, but quite detailed nonetheless. Overall, I give this slip an A. The green shine on the logo is great too.

What do YOU think? You'll find out tomorrow if you've not gotten it already.

Very nice, the BEWARE at the bottom of the slip is also pretty embossed!

Actually, the BEWARE is embossed inwards (inverted?). Nice detail.

So the question is, did you guys get the slip with the 15.99 one from Amazon, or the 26.99 one?

I got this from Amazon about 2 weeks after the release and I didnt even realise I got the Holographic slip!
