Thanks for that most informative link. I agree that the DENON looks nicer and aesthetics certainly are important. However, I think my final decision to choose the YAMAHA was because of the HDMI inputs. With HD Cable, PS3 and a soon to be purchased TOSHIBA HD-DVD I'm liking my choice much more.

I have a Panasonic 42" Plasma and I just purchased some Totem MITES rear channel speakers for my eventual surround experience. At the moment I'm using my Totems for the front and some bookshelf PSB's for rears and that is the extent of my setup for the moment. In a few months I'll add the Totem Centre Channel speaker and a Subwoofer (haven't decided on a make and model yet). And then a few months after that I'll get the piece-de-la-resistance Totem Sttaf towers, which I'll use for the front.

I went to the extent I'm going, because I wanted my setup to reflect both a good A/V surround expereince, but also a solid 2-channel music experience. I have literally thousands of Vinyl LP's and I think the Totem Sttafs will compliment that side of my desired experience quite nicely.
