Flicker flipping through ps3 menus? - Blu-ray Forum

Just noticed it today, but I was speeding around through ps3 menus and I had a very noticeable flicker on my plasma. Very strange. I wasn't able to recreate it in any other setting though (fast scene on movies or moving around like crazy on video games)

try turning off 1080p/24Hz

Settings - BD/DVD Settings - BD 1080p 24 Hz Output (HDMI) - OFF

may or may not help...

24Hz only applies to movie playback. Sounds like a tv problem you're only noticing on a mostly static picture.

hmm odd. I haven't seen the flicker anywhere else, I've spent like 6 hours trying to look up close at the screen. Nothing will recreate what I see when I flip through the ps3 dashboard menus fast. Guess its just a bug.

This may be plasma related, bc I have not experienced this on my Aquos 46" 1080p LCD HDTV.
