Wow that was fast DrinkMore! Thanks for the info. I've read a few posts on the forum about displays that claim to be 1080i and are actually no more than 720. Was concerned that this older model display fell into that category and that we should be using the lesser format.

And yes, 1024 x 1024 was a typo...little too much eggnogg perhaps, or maybe not enough.

The redness is very pronounced when the screen is black or the scene is dark but vanishes when I change the format to anything besides 1080i. Very weird...
