Dame that is funny!!!!!!! I dont wish HD DVD ill, but my kids love disney they are young, and I have to say I love POTCB movies, and so much more. I also feel that Blu has the best chance of winning and we need one format or both Blu and HD DVD will be dead.

I didn't see him "blast" anyone, he just said that HD DVD isn't as bad as everyone on here makes it seem. I sort of agree with him, but I sort of don't. I hate HD DVD for lots of reasons, the lying, the faulty players, the lying, the combo discs, the lying, the cheating, the cheapness, the lying, the buyoffs, all that jazz. But as a product goes, it's not that bad once you get past the freeze ups, speed ups, audio sync issues, menu problems, players needing an HDMI connection at all times or else it needs to load the disc all over again, the long load times, the PIP having a nice logo to add a special little burned in logo to your TV to let people know you've been watching HD DVD special features, the fact you have to chose between features and pq quality or HD sound. It's still an improvement over DVD in some areas. Blu-Ray has its faults, too. Though, most of them are minor and easily improved upon.

You chastise the Redcoats for lying and then proceed to do so yourself?!?!?!

It's not that much of an improvement over DVD now that the "HD" upconvert DVD players are on the market.

I personally haven't sold my HD DVD player yet, but I haven't bought an HD DVD in over two months, and I won't be unless Warner goes HD DVD exclusive.

Be smart and sell it while it has a little value left.

Then why are all the Blu-rays from warner being recalled. Shotty products are on both formats.

ya really, it all ends good for us either way. when paramount crawls back and eventually universal will have to bow as well. as for warner, well i think we already have them, just not said yet.

Aren't those shotty (I think he meant shoddy btw) Warner products simply packaging issues due to human error - rather than consistent flaws in the actual product design like combo discs.

With the hard coating on Blu-ray software only .. HD DVD are already suffering on that (huge) software investment.

If your neutral - why pay the same or more for a disk that is less reliable and lacks protection? Just get it on Blu and your protected.
