Did you know that the creators of the show originally wanted T'Pol to be the T'Pau character from the original series episode "Amok Time"? They didn't go through with it, because it would mean they would have to pay the creator of the original character for every episode she appeared in.

Three years later they had T'Pau appear in two episodes of the Vulcan Arc of season four, played by Kara Zediker.
