the popping noise youre hearing is the switching between different audio formats...say for instance when your at the menu screen the audio is in Dolby Digital, and then when the movie starts it switches to Uncompressed PCM...the pop occurs when the switch is being made.
Some receivers are very bad at this, and some receivers you never hear it. Im not sure if its a firmware fixable thing or not... |
