Worth Buying Madden 2008 for PS3 or Keep my PS2 Version?

I'm new to this forum, but I'm glad I found it. I was thinking of putting this in the PS3 forum, but since I don't have the PS3 yet (2 weeks from now), I wanted to ask this here. I've had my PS2 for a while and I have the PS2 version for Madden 2008 and I know this will be playable on the PS3, but is there a difference between the two versions?

Basically, I'm asking if the graphics are better, gameplay any better? I don't want to buy the PS3 version if it's not worth it. I'll just keep the PS2 game if that's the case. Thanks in advance.

aii man i have madden 08 for my ps3 and man it's disappointing..i think the madden 08 for the ps2 is way better..the gameplay in madden 08 for the ps3 is really bad!! keep the ps2 man ur saving alot of disappointments

Not on some of them! Only the 60GB and 20GB models are backwards compatible. Sony saved some money when making the 40GB and 80GB models. You will need to buy the Madden 2008 for PS3.

No, its not worth the $$. Crappy port Wait till maybe 09 but after significant players reviews support the usefulness of the game.

Buy Unreal Tourney 3 instead----Awesome game
