for this instance Da Vinci Code blu-ray (some others as well) is listed online at $8, just need to select a store before price shows up. so i PMd with the rep checking the price online.

My Walmart had everything out.

Lots of BDs and DVDs in big green shelves -- just like the yellow ones at Boxing Day. It was BD Heaven!

Price points were $15, $10, and $8 as previously mentioned here.

Some of the $15 titles were $10 at Boxing Week!

All of the Warner sell-through titles were $10 including the Wave 1 and Wave 2 SteelBook titles.

Many of the new titles were $15 like DEVIL, ...HORNET'S NEST, THE AMERICAN, PIRHANNA, THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT, etc.

The $10 and $8 were hit-and-miss, but I ended up with:
AUGUST RUSH ($10.00) thanks rabbit!
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ($8.00) with slipcover
MAN IN THE IRON MASK ($8.00) never seen this!
QUANTUM OF SOLACE ($10.00)
STEP BROTHERS ($8.00) 2-disc edition
SNATCH ($8.00)

Not sure about the STEP BROTHERS and SNATCH. May end up returning them.

The movies are out there! Good hunting!

Hmm. Should I still hold out for a Quantom of Solace re-release or just pick it up now for $10....

steelbooks are $10 right now at Walmart? Steel of a deal if that's true!

At $10 or less, a new BD is a no-brainer for me.

Reason being is that you can usually trade it in at BBV and at least get $5.00 back for it.

The $5.00 you end up losing is less than the cost of a rental.

You could probably sell it for slightly more at a garage sale or private sale.

Also, if you're not sure, pick it up from Walmart first, but don't open it.

If you change your mind, you can still return it to Walmart (with receipt) for a full refund.

No, to clarify, what I meant was that the non-SteelBook amaray versions of these same titles are $10.00.

I saw
300,
I AM LEGEND,
BATMAN BEGINS,
HEAT,
WATCHMEN,
V FOR VENDETTA (I think).

Those titles are amongst the SteelBook titles from Warner Wave 1 and 2. They have obviously been marked for clearout as I've seen these same titles on sale at BB and FS and BBV.

The March Break sale at Walmart did not include any SteelBooks at my store. The amarays were the ones on sale.

Although it's already been mentioned that GONY and/or NCFOM SteelBooks were something like $12.00 at some Walmarts.

Picked Man With the Iron Mask for $8. By far this was the title they had the least of, only saw 2 copies.
Make sure you check the regular blu racks as they had more $15 titles mixed in with the regular ones. (ie Expendables/Paris With Love)

Seems various titles are being reported for different prices. I've seen Snatch and DaVinci for $10 while others have said $8. 3 Walmarts around here and none have put out "all" of the titles yet. 1 didn't even have any $8 blu-rays at all. Did grab Die Hard 2 and 3 for $8 but everything else I've seen I have or is underwhelming.
