watch my blu of Office Space after work today. forgot how great this film is

there are, however, some rules that you must know before embarking into the wild, wonderful, cruel and real world that Office Space is.

1. you must be over the age of 20 to fully understand and "get" the humor here

and

2. you must have had a job lasting at least 6 months to also help understand the humor and annoyances of every day life that the film provides. no, an office job isn't necessary. dumb people work everywhere. dumb and irritating things get said and done at every job.

i used to really like the first half of the film but felt the second half wasn't as good, but on this, my first viewing in about 3 years, i didn't mind a single minute. pure genius by mike judge.

the writing - top notch. witty, smart, funny, cruel, and completely real. these are things real people probably do and definitely say. annoying co-workers constantly repeating and asking the same thing but in numerous ways... hating your job... a boss that you hate because you know you're smarter than him yet he makes more than you... it's all here. and in not an "over the top" 'loud' way. great stuff

when i begin really reviewing my blus and making new lists (everything is on hold and is being overhauled), i know when it comes to "favorite comedies" and "best comedies" that Office Space will be high on the list

PQ: 4.5/5 - holy moly this looks pretty damn great for a film of this type and budget!
AQ: 3.5/5 - great background noises that really bring an office to life

That's not exactly fair as Emmy Rossum looks better with her hair down. I'm kind of in the middle in regards to her though. There's no way I would say she is very unattractive, but I also can't say I like her like some people do. She is a strange one in that she can look downright gorgeous in some pictures and then not look anything special in some others in my opinion.

As far as Sela Ward goes, she's alright, but she doesn't do much for me either. I'm not saying she's ugly now, but I imagine she was indeed good looking back when she was younger.

i probably shouldn't have said, "very unattractive" because of course there are FAR worse. but both are very to me.

Shoot 'Em Up

Completely ridiculous. Over the top ludicrous action, dialogue and behavior. And constant streams of awesome

First time I saw this years ago I hated it because I didn't know what to expect. It's goofy, fun, insane, ridiculous, foolish, stylized like mad and fun as hell. I'm not a big action guy as most of you know, but even I had a blast with this film and glad I bought it.

Also, the blu looks and sounds phenomenal!
