alright, still bd potter sold better than an hd dvd potter. and thats with blu-ray having way more releases to choose from.

BD 300 absolutely destroyed HD DVD 300.

If you would read stuff in the thread you would know. This was posted yesterday even.

Actually if you look at the archive you will see that this week we will get the numbers that were published last week.
Next week we will get the numbers for this guess.
Then the week after that we will get the numbers for the last week of the year.
The week they skip is the first week of the year or that is what they did with DVD last year.

Last year this is how the numbers were listed
WE 12/31 numbers for WE 12/17
WE 01/07 numbers for WE 12/24
WE 01/14 numbers for WE 12/31
WE 01/21 numbers for WE 01/14

So the missing WE is WE 01/07 and until that point all the numbers were just pushed a week.

That's sure to perk up Warner's ears. That pushes superior legs to insane levels.

its wrong, i looked at aggregate which is potter not Bourne, liek the ratio for 300 on BD indicates

But i dont think its much worse.....should defintely be 3:1 id say.

Ah, of course.

EDIT: It would help if I chose the right numbers from the chart.

(64.48 + 53.64):14.38 = 8.21:1 = 100:12.18

12.18: (15.52 - 12.18) = 12.18:3.34 = 3.64:1

Gary

Here's a thought... Amazon numbers don't mean shi*

NPD declined to report specific unit sales shares for each of the retailers but noted that Best Buy is far in front. Amazon.com and the rest are mostly clustered together for the second through fifth spots.

but of significance is teh aggregate. which shows 5 BD exclusives to only 1 HD DVD exclusive. 4 WB titles. So, knock on wood WB goes BD 9 out 10 would be BD exclusive.....WB goes HD DVD, 5 to 5. No spin needed. WB can either end it or prolong and even it.

Heres what I see:

Pirates and HP5 sold neck and neck on BD which gave Bourne a better shot at overall title because BD buyers were equally spread between Pirates and HP5.

With HP5 doing well on BD and Pirates waning off, the BD version of HP5 will continue to grow its lead over HP5 HDDVD.

I think these numbers are good IMHO.

Plus the fact the HP5 BD single was behind the HDDVD most of the time, but the BOX was always ahead of HDDVD.
