It's funny, because when I saw the trailer to the first movie, I thought the same thing. But the movie ended up being better that I thought it would be. Maybe the same will apply here.

All Pixar movies have layers of nuance that aren't apparent in the trailers.

Me too, even though many of the trailers haven't been overly exciting to me. What I think might be a dumb film based on seeing the preview, turns out to be delightful.

IMO I think cars 1 should of never had a sequel.
Most people thought Cars would be VERY disappointing and I suppose some people still don't like it.

I love it and moreover I don't know any kids they don't love it.

Running joke in my family. Every trailer Pixar puts out looks like crap. Movies always blow us away.

I think they do it to lower expectations. Great Marketing strategy if you ask me.

I can't decide what to do with my Incredibles collector's edition DVD.

I could give it away, I know someone who would likely take it.

I could try to sell it, it's only worth $2 trade in on Amazon though.

I could keep it, seems to have different special features or at least more on the DVD format. Maybe the DVD is better than the DVD that comes in the new kit because they don't squeeze on the special features on the DVD of the film.

Funny,.... I shouldn't care about any versions of the DVD at all now that the Blu Ray is out.

I cannot see anyone getting much for the Cars BD trying to sell the one they already had after buying both The Incredibles and then the Cars BD again.

All I need is Cars on DVD and a way to make the inside of my Cars steelbook a combo pack and I'll be good to go. Again Incredibles, as the reviewer says, looks incredible on bd. The DVD is dreary and poor, the blu-ray is infinitely better.

Took my Disney coupon to BB and got it for $16 and change with tax...not too shabby for a film that looks and sounds spectacular on Blu.

I watched this last night after a few years of not doing so and never realized it had such a powerful LFE track. Gorgeous visuals, as expected, but the sound caught me off guard and I actually had to turn down the sub nearly 5db from my usual setting.

My Pixar collection is nearly complete, only Nemo to go!

It's to bad this movie is friggen expensive. I paid 19.99 for TS3, a NEW movie. I wont be more for an older one.

And also, why is Cars being re-re-released on blu?

That's why you use the $10 coupon to make it $15-17 before tax. Cars is being re-released to promote the new movie and boost sales of Incredibles as people eye both movies when they go into stores.

I don't have a printer that can print coupons.

Wow I would say use someone else's, before I got mine I would drive about 4 blocks and print coupons at a college campus. Mine was $60, it's not fancy or anything but it gets the job done.

Picked this baby up from Target yesterday using my DMR Coupon... My Slipcase is perfect by the way.

But yeah, this looks and sounds fantastic.

I have no idea why the Reviewer on here gave it 4.5 out of 5 for picture quality... Then again, the same person only gave the film 4.5.

Very happy to have this on Blu.

It's only a movie. I can wait for it to drop in price this year.

You mean like Princess and the Frog? That movie has been out it seems forever and it refuses to drop, so it's probably going to be awhile before I get it. Pixar movies rarely drop, must be a Disney thing.

Sat down and watched this last night. I had forgotten what a great movie this is. It's definitely one of my fave Pixar titles, next to Up, Monsters Inc. and the Toy Stories; IMO a much stronger film than Bug's Life, Cars, Rat, and Wall.E, but I still enjoy those.

The package overall is Incredible! No pun intended... The AQ is what impressed me the most, but the PQ definitely impresses. This is a top notch transfer.

Now, can't wait for Finding Nemo.

Had the opposite reaction, getting Incredibles made the wait for Finding Nemo easier for me, still think it'll come around Christmas, when Cars 2 drops. I didn't see any customary nods to other Pixar films in this one or a nod to the one that came after it either, anyone else spot those?

Agreed. I remember being unimpressed by the following trailers

"Bug's Life"
"Toy Story 2"
"Monsters Inc"
"Finding Nemo"
"The Incredibles"
"Cars"
"Ratatouille"
"Up"

Admittedly, Wall-E and TS3 had trailers that excited me.
