Some with PS3 have reported problems with other movies too... Also, there are issues with the slim PS3 vs the original models where one will play while the other doesn't.

In other words... PS3 isn't perfect either.

It's one thing not to get fancy features... but in my opinion the basic function of any Blu-ray player should be to play the movie... so if you buy a player, it is reasonable to expect it to always play the main feature on the Blu-ray without having to jump through hoops.

Awesome Blu-ray, one of my favorite Pixar movies. Now I hope they hurry up and release Finding Nemo.

Finally!! I got it!!

I snuck out of work around 5-10 minutes early before my boss gives me more work. I then took a train to the nearest Best Buy. They had about 8 copies in the New Release section. They were all in beautiful shape and were protected in those plastic security cases. I went to the cashier, gave her the BD and coupon, and she accepted the coupon without any hesitation whatsoever. She barely even looked at it. She just took it and punched in something in the computer and lo and behold, $10 off!! She obviously has seen these coupons before and knows what they are. Either that or the employees at this particular store get adequate training. I'm glad I had no issue this time. I was a little nervous.

But it's all good and now I have the movie. I spent an extra $2.25 for train fare, so I saved $7.75 instead of $10. Beats paying $25 thru Amazon. I didn't bother buying Cars because I don't want that movie. If I wanted it, I would've bought it long time ago.

I popped in the movie and skimmed through the film and I have to say, it looks freakin' beautiful. I always thought "Toy Story" was the best looking Pixar movie on BD, but now, I may have to give that award to "The Incredibles."

Default Walmart

I picked up The Incredibles for just $16.99 after coupons at Target. I did not pick up Cars because I already had Cars on Blu. As I read through these post it seems quite clear that Walmart slogan of "Lowest Prices Always" doesn't always fit. I always smile when I shop around for blu rays because Walmart is not always lowest price. I have also noticed in the stores that those signs are all but gone.

Default Wal Mart price match

Has anyone had any success with Wal Mart price matching Best Buy's $10 off buying both The Incredibles and Cars plus accepting the DMR coupons? I am 45 min away from the closest Best Buy. I already asked Amazon if they would match including the DMR coupons, but no dice.

I tried Walmart before work this morning since they built a brand new one 2 minutes down the street from my job.

Long story short - NO.

Short story long, I first had to convince them that they price-match without the ad necessary (sad that someone who never shops there knows this but the employees don't). Then I talked to another lady who gave me a hard time. She finally asked if I wanted to see a manager (thought she was one). Those two conversed for a few minutes and the manager said that they would honor the Best Buy deal, which goes against store policy. As soon as I mentioned the coupons, all bets were off. I was told one or the other. So I asked if they would like me to go to Best Buy instead and basically got a yes. I tried to explain that there is nothing in the store policy that says I cannot use manufacturer coupons in conjunction with any other deal, price-matching or a store sale, etc. The manager tried explaining that she was doing me a favor by breaking store policy and offering me the $10 off deal, but she couldn't comprehend the fact that refusing the coupons is also in violation of store policy, so basically she would rather break policy twice instead of once (?????).

It was a huge waste of time, nothing more. They are far more concerned with themselves and their policies than servicing the customer and making a sale. Oh well. F them. Walmart sucks anyway.

The first PS3 I ever bought would not play any game or movie at all. Took it back for one that worked and haven't had a problem since. Every dvd and blu-ray works wonderfully.

YMMV!

Today, I went to WM's customer service and got them to PM BB! At first, they had the looked of the deer in the headlight while looking over the BB ad and then I said, what...you people don't know your own policy? Of course, I got a dirty look! But, after about 5 minutes of me explaining there policy to them, I got the PM and DMR coupon added, or is that subtracted? Anyways, walked out of WM, paying $16.74!

actually, it IS their policy not to price match without an actual ad. it is somewhat new (about a year now, at least in my stores in NE Wisconsin) but it is what they require now.

hell, most stores you can't even print an add off from the internet. it has to be the actual ad itself!

Admittedly, Wall-E and TS3 had trailers that excited me.
Remember when Pixar attached a teaser for their next film in front of their current ones. They usually used animation made just for the teaser. My favourite having been for 'The Incredibles' which featured Bob getting a phone call, replying "I'm on my way!" then having issue trying to get his belt one.

Toy Story 2 got me really interested. When I was a kid, I didn't like Toy Story 1. At 12 years old I saw the TS2 trailer and so I went with my dad and we loved it. Since then I have grown to like the original but I think each film has gotten better.

Up had a good trailer for me as did Wall-E. Didn't like the Cars trailer or movie.

Only Pixar I haven't seen yet is Ratatouille.

I am DYING for "Finding Nemo" on BD. Haven't seen it in years and I've been holding out especially since 2009 because for two years now I've worked at an aquarium!

On topic, watched Incredibles last night. Amazing. I can see myself watching this 3 more times in the next week.

Picked mine up today at BB, it was the last one in the store. Used the coupon with no problem (even tho when the cashier scanned it, it rang up as $10.00 off Bambi..lol) I will probably watch it tom. with the kids.

The disc is being very tricky with my BDP-350 player. I have the latest firmware, but the disc didn't even start up until the 4th time I reinserted it. First movie I've ever had a problem like this with. I'm guessing Sony may just need to update the firmware soon.

As for the extras, I thought the 22 minute discussion by the principles involved was a bit annoying. I don't think it brought much new info to the table.

I'd rather see the voice actors talk about how they came to be a part of the movie, and it's effect on them after the release.

Better than a bunch of nerds laughing at silly things that no one else finds amusing.
