I just bought this tv from BB about a week ago.

I can't seem to get the PQ settings right for my cable box, 360 or PS3. Anyone here using this tv mind posting their settings to help me? Thanks

Ok, I used a calibration DVD with the HDMI connection only...this will give you good color for a dvd source, but may or may not ideal for the PS3/Xbox...but you can always tweak it.

first be sure to set to 'Warm' (I believe its in the "Feature" or "advanced picture" setting, cant remember which)

Contrast - 65
Brightness - 48
Sharpness - 4
Color - 63
Tint - G3
Backlight - 1

You may or may not like these settings...you can always play with them.

Also, if anyone cares...I found the Remote code to make the TV work with a DISH remote...#720.

if not, you can still get free over-the-air channels using the built in HD tuner. You just need an OTA Antenna.

Yea so far I like it. Thanks for those settings by the way, I'll try them when I get home. I find that for watching blu-ray and HD-dvd movies this TV looks great. I'm looking into an OTA antenaa but the Hd cable box is fine for now, plus have channels like HD net.

I'm having a hard time getting my games to look good on it though. Maybe it's because I've had a 1080i crt for so long but I'm noticing a lot of jaggies with games like COD4 and Halo 3 especially.

If you don't get 'local' HD channels (you probably do with cable HD) like ABC,CBS,FOX,NBC...the antenna combined with the TV's internal HD tuner will pick those channels up for free. An added bonus to a super cheap TV!

well I think once you adjust the picture settings a little closer to where it should be, it will look fine.

also keep in mind...the TV's actual resolution is 1366 x 768, so it may not look as good as you're use to.
