Crutchfield jumped the gun - Blu-ray Forum

Crutchfield's new catalog, out today, features the new Sony BDP-S350 ($399) and the S550 ($599).
Unfortunately they do not have either in stock and don't know when they will.
Bummer!

I thought the MSRP of the S550 was $499? Did Sony raise the price (aka Panasonic with the BD50)?

my guess would be that crutchfield raised the price

Maxpower1987 said a while back that he felt that the S550 might be priced higher by the time it came out due to the decreasing value of the dollar.

I'll wait for the Sony S551 to be in Costco by Black Friday and get it for $399!
