Congrats on the purchase! I LOVE my XBR4. the motion enhancer is quite amazing. I prefer it on standard most the time but do like to set it on high Especially when Im watching high def sports. Football looks astounding with it on.

As for the standalone player I had heard about the slow load times and actually experienced it over at my friends house. REALLY slow compared to my ps3, but stil its def worth it for what you get and I absolutely plan on buying a standalone in the next 4 or 5 months to use strictly as a BD player =]
