I sent Mr. J the updated MK Rules waiting for him to verify to make it official.

If Tournament 1 is a success, I'll start adding Forum Members to the https://forum.blu-ray.com/community-...er-thread.html.

If it goes beyond that, then I will create a NEW *Sticky* for Mortal Kombat Hall of Fame Champions thread like I did for Madden.

1 disconnection, you start over. 2 or more then someone is playing around or being a sore loser.

good question. It wouldn't be fair to the person playing fair if the match was forfeited. And there is no way to tell who's playing around.......so......I need to think about this one. What are the consequences in the Madden League if something like this were to happen....constantly!?!

In my League, if they get disconnected. They either replay the entire game, OR they run the clock to get to the quarter they were disconnected with the same score and they play from there.

^^^ Both of those options are agreed by both owners. If there was a problem, then they would contact me and I'd step in.

In your case for Mortal Kombat. Maybe if it was disconnected and I was winning that Round 1 for our 1st match against you and we disconnect for example...... We would just reconnect, start the match over and you would give me Round 1, and then when we start Round 2 we start competing for real. If none agree to that, then they can just redo the entire match over.

Something like that I guess.

Hopefully it doesn't come down to that. If so then those 2 members must work it out to have a solution. If there's a problem then they contact you.

It's not like Madden where 1 game can last an hour. Our MK matches should be less than 20 mins so I don't think disconnecting constantly would be an issue.

I think we should be set for now as we covered the basic online rules. All we need is for the rest to be committed and show up to who they are supposed to play/fight.

I'm not going to lie, but it's kind of rude to agree to a time, and then out of no where, they don't show up and you're left hanging waiting around on PSN. Hopefully they will be responsible enough to let their opponents know they can't show up due to an emergency which tends to happen.

Looks good. Now we are covered. We'll probably have a few issues, but that's when we are actually playing the tourney, and we'll adjust it as we go. Damn I can't wait to play ONLINE!

Yeah, we can leave it up to you guys for that. As long as you feel that your match was played "fair", then you guys can just figure out the solution to determine the winner.

Basically there's 10 people in a lobby with avatars watching 1 vs 1 matches. The winner stays on and the loser goes back in line. The avatars can rank each match on a scale of 1 -10.
