Here is how I personally rank the remaining six contestants:

1. Casey Abrams
2. Haley Reinhart
3. James Durbin
4. Jacob Lusk
5. Lauren Alaina
6. Scotty McCreery

Its obvious some things have changed for me. Haley has shot up since the first couple of weeks and I love her now. Jacob (my initial favorite) while he is a great singer, its sumthin about him that has wore on me just about lately. I cant take away some of the past performances that blew me away though. Lauren could be higher but she needs to go all out this week and I just think Scotty is super overrated and isnt in the singing class of any of the other 5. Funny thing is I know he and Lauren are probably the two most popular on the show and will both probably go further than Casey & Haley but I dont think they should. Lauren could change my mind this week maybe.

Also I was listening to the studio recordings and Haley blew me away! She is easily the best recording artist on the show and I cant wait to hear a whole album from her. Got Em!!

In terms of popularity, I predict it will be James vs. Scotty in the finals. I pick James to win!

Yeah, Haley came out of nowhere. She was freaking annoying early on. I absolutely hated her style and techniques but they've done a great job making her tone it down. And I agree, her studio recordings are great. Piece of My Heart, Bennie and the Jets, Blue, Rolling in the Deep, those were shockingly good. And I know you'll disagree with me, but Paul's studio recordings also sounded pretty legit. Sucks he left too soon. Honestly, Casey blows, studio or live.

See, that's what I think about - would I buy an album or a FEW songs at least from one of those remaining....

1. Scotty = heck no.
2. Casey = might have one song, but not convinced.
3. Haley = Probably not. That dumb growl annoys me.
4. James = Possibly - depends on how controlled he is or if he does metal.
5. Jacob = not a chance.
6. Lauren = heck yes!!!!!!!
7. Paul = most likely.
8. Pia = yup.

Scotty is marketable to young country fans.
Casey is not really marketable.
Haley could be marketable.
James has a great story = instant marketability.
Jacob has some marketability, but his feminine mannerisms will hurt him.
Lauren has HUGE marketability in country + she's cute + she's good.
Paul reminds me of England lol. Not a lot of marketability.
Pia has CRAZY marketability with her look and voice.

Could it be his big Dumbo ears and the constant facial twitches? I know he has some form of autism but I just can't stand watching him when he does the interviews and such.

I dont know man Paul was ok but I think his style isnt for me but if u are into his type of singing and voice then Im sure u would like him. I didnt listen to to many of his recordings since I wasnt interested though. He does remind me of Rod Stewart though. Got Em!!

Ok I know a couple of my favorites will have to overcome some of the more popular contestants so I voted for the first time this season tonight. I voted hard for Casey & Haley tonight. Casey scared me with his performance tonight. It was great of course but again when he sings with that aggressiveness it seems most of America doesnt get it so hopefully he doesnt hurt due to that fact and hope that people see the brilliance in this kid. My bottom 3 isnt what I would choose but this is how I think it will happen unfortunately:

Bottom 3
Haley Reinhart
Casey Abrams
Jacob Lusk

I still think Scotty should be the one to go home this week but Jacob is next in line to me so this would be ok. I am not ok with Haley or Casey being in the bottom 3 however but this is what I feel will happen tomorrow unfortunately. As long as Casey or Haley isnt eliminated then Im ok. Got Em!!

I'm going to agree with what you think America will vote as the bottom 3...because they are also my bottom three. I thought they were each pretty bad...especially Casey. That was awful. And Jacob sounded like he was whining...again. After one or two weeks at the beginning thinking he did good...he has REALLY grown on my irritating list.


Lauren did really well tonight. She better win.

Yea yea I know u dont like Casey but damn u thought Haley was bad tonight??? Anyway Lauren is always consistent but never blows me away and she cracked pretty bad on a high note tonight so she wasnt great either. I do like her and I would be ok if she won. I think Haley sounds bad 99% of the time. Regardless of whether or not she is hitting the notes correctly...I hate her raspy voice and that growl crap she does in most songs.

Casey doesn't deserve to go home. He had the best performance. Maybe not the best vocals of the night but the overall performance.

James was good as always. Prefer his metal over this softer stuff but he does well enough with it.

Lauren... well she's always good but rarely great. It's a shame she's just 16 though. I feel that's just too young to be in the business. It rarely comes to any good. Look at all the other child stars in and out of rehab, prison, crazy antics... If she does win I really hope her managers and whatnot will help keep her out of trouble.

Haley is starting to grow on me so she doesn't deserve to go home just yet either. She's yet to be really great as well so I doubt she will win.

As for Jacob and Scotty - I skipped them. Well, I didn't skip Jacob and James' duet but believe me, I was cringing every time Jacob sang. He just doesn't sing anything well except for a few gospel songs. Which is funny him being a religious man but I'm 95% sure he's gay.

Well I think u are using the term "bad" in the wrong place then. If she hits all the notes etc...then it cant be a bad performance, but rather u just arent a fan of her style therefore u didnt enjoy it. When u say bad Im thinkin u mean she sucked and was off on most notes etc....As for Lauren I did say I liked it as well but it wasnt great though and she did miss a note or two. Got Em!!

I HATE when Casey growls/humms "MMMM" when he sings. It's stupid.

I also HATE when Haley growls. It gets old. It figures that they are dating.

Lauren was just okay last night - not great.
Scotty was boring.
Jacob was decent, but I am over his diva singing. He should go home.
James had the best performance of the night.

Also, I think the final 3 will be: James, Casey, and Lauren.

haha No. Sorry. I forget that I'm the only person that understands myself. To clarify, I have no problem with anyones sexuality or religious belief. Who they like is their business and it's not going to have any impact on me liking or disliking them. It's more so Jacob's mannerisms and style that bother me. And as for people being gay and religious, well... religious is a vague word. He appears to be Christian. Most traditional Christians seem to think it's immoral to be gay or even a sin. I've not read the whole Bible so I'm not sure where they get that but still it's the view of most Christians. I myself am a Christian but like to think I'm more understanding and open to other peoples views. I wasn't trying to start any kind of religious debate, not sure it's tolerated here, was just saying that I find it funny that he appears to be both. Then again, didn't he say last night that he liked being that close to JLo? He could just be very feminine as I believe his father died while he was young leaving him to be raised by his mother.

If it's something I don't enjoy...then it's bad to me.

It's like the conversations we've had with the guys in the Review thread; if we don't like it, we won't call it a great movie.
