Default Blu-Ray Movie Screenshots

I highly think of Blu-Ray. Using my HTPC and Blu-Ray drive, I'm getting some fine PQ..

I have watched the blu-ray movies: The Devil wears Prada, Click, Crank, The Last Samurai, and Pearl Harbor.

The movie The Last Samurai and Crank came out the best. The Samurai has something that Crank can't put out, while the Crank edges out slightly in detail. I personally fell in love with the The Last Samurai. Unbelieveably awesome pictures. Pearl Harbor wasn't *THAT* great, it's descent but not super. The Devil Wears Prada.... ummm... it'z okay.

Those pics look great! I like your setup in that room and those chairs. How's the sound in that room? I bet it gets loud down below there when you have a movie really going, huh?

IamAnoobieCheez,

What do you use to play BD movies on your HTPC?

BTW,

I got the same drive at work today.
I tried to author short BDAV disk (to HDD) with Cyberlink PowerProducer after I installd the drive in my PC. It only burns to BD disks.

Anyway, Cyberlink PowerProdicer is a piece of crap.

Hi Lumberg,

That room and chairs do look nice indeed.. but that's my family's home. My own home is crappy. You'll see what my room looks like in the previous pages in that link... I used to have two plasma screens running as dual screen clone mode. Was fun..

hey MozartMan, I'm using a Sony BWU-100A Blu-Ray PC drive on my HTPC. I'm using PowerDVD BD 6.6 software that came with the drive, but I did upgrade to the later version. it's not ultra though.

I agree! LOL I too think Cyberlink PowerProducer sucks donkey's azz... or perhaps I'm not sure how to use it well, i donno.. but so far, I don't like it.

I use good'ol Nero CD/DVD burning software to burn CDs and standard DVDs on my Blu-Ray drive.
