How the HD-DVD camp got blindsided by the warner announcement is pure poetry. I remember when Paramount screwed us and the BD camp over with there surprise now that warner did the same to them gives me a sense of justice and revenge.

He who laughs last laughs best you hear that Para*****?

HD-DVD is like a team losing a championship game and a lot of chaos and weeping is taking place.

It's remarkable if they really were blindsided by this because most of us on this list knew it was going to happen all along. Some of us expected it later rather than sooner, but others certainly believed it would be far sooner than later--me among them.

I don't think DUD was really that self-deluded. But who knows?

They remind me of the 98' Atlanta Falcons losing the Superbowl and Dan Reeves is crying like a baby!

If this news is true, then I couldn't be happier. I've always been a Sony fanboy, I always support Sony product when I was a boy. When they came up with Blu-ray, even though many people say HD-DVD will beat it, I still keep supporting them. I brought a PS3 when it came out because I want to support PS3 and Blu-ray, and I never watch anything in HD-DVD. I'm so glad if they come out on top and knock out HD-DVD in the end.
