I haven't gotten there yet, but I read about it and thats what I want too.....maybe there will be DLC for DA2 that includes Moorigan and the Warden Commander

Are you asking about gameplay strength or storyline strength?

I personally think Dwarf Noble has the best storyline overall (rogue or warrior, same either way). There's some really strong writing and some well-constructed ambiguous choices. Dwarf Commoner wasn't nearly as strong.

Human or Elf Mage is also a reasonably neat story.

I didn't much care for the Human Noble (warrior or rogue) or City Elf (warrior or rogue) storylines either.

As far as ease of play, Dwarf Warriors are incredibly powerful if you send them down the Templar specialization path, as you can literally make them immune to magic with the right gear. Spells and other powers that would otherwise tear you to pieces end up just fizzling, and Dwarves get a leg up on that by having 10% magic immunity inherently.

Mages of any race are also ridiculously good, esp. Spirit Healers and Blood Mages.

I should be going for Dwarf next. Good to hear it's a good story. I went with Dalish Elf first. I enjoyed the Dalish Elf and the Human Mage Origin stories. I think I enjoyed the Mage a little more though. The whole Jowan thing had me conflicted from the beginning.

Definitely had an easier playthrough with my Mage. Arcane Warrior and Blood Mage.
