I will be picking both of these up day 1. Lets hope next week we hear of other Disney classics and Pixar movies that will be releasing this year. You can def count on wall-e being released by Christmas.

Don't expect any more announcements about the Disney "classics"...remember, they have their 7-year cycle.

"Sleeping Beauty" had been previously announced as the first classic animated title to be released in Blu-ray, and [Gordon] Ho [Executive Vice President of Worldwide Brand Marketing and Product Management for Walt Disney] said that after that October '08 release, Disney would be releasing three to four "Platinum" titles every spring and fall.

Story here. It may take another year, but the classics will start coming at a pretty good clip.
