Lauren or Hailey deserve the win, since they have the most appeal to mainstream audiences. Scotty is going to win this contest and then he'll vanish from the face of the earth along with Kris Allen and Lee Dewyze.

The last season I watched was the one with Taylor Hicks and Katherine Mcphee. I saw that year live. Katherine deserved that win. Shame she didn't. It's not like Taylor has done ANYTHING since then. She was AMAZING live.

Haley killed it period all three rounds and should easily advance to the finals. I think it should be her and Lauren in the finale but as we all know Scotty will advance of course. I just hope Haley beats out Lauren for the other spot. She is simply marvelous. She sings the toughest songs and takes the most risks and she kills it everytime out. Got Em!!

Haley was perfect, amazing, stunning, fantastic, gorgeous, elegant, incredible, mindblowing and nobody even came close to her.

Lauren's "I Hope You Dance" was easily the best performance of the night. She was pretty good on the first song and stumbled but recovered nicely on the second.

I hated Lauren even more than usual.

Scotty did good on the first song (no one can touch the Lonestar version of that song), a little better on the second and okay on the final song.

I voted like crazy for Lauren after the show! Haley needs to go! I can't stand her raspy voice! It needs to be Lauren and Scotty in the finale next week!

Not if I can help it! I've voted 500 times for Haley with an hour left to go. If it's a Lauren vs Scotty finale, I won't watch. It will be just as boring as the Lee and Crystal finale last year.

Just remember boys and girls... I called it back on May 5th. Scotty will win this competition. He is by far and away the tween girls favorite. He's cute (in their eyes?) and safe. He's not too handsome or too sexy... that's too threatening for the tween set. Just look at every winner since Jordan Sparks. What do you see? The cute little boy next door.

If American Idol ever wants to be taken seriously again... they have to make it one vote from each caller or texter.

Haley's voice is so raspy that she sounds almost like a man. If that's more to your liking, then more power to you. Lauren's vocals are so soothing and pure. I'm also a fan of country music, which is why I like her.

Haley sounds nothing like a man. Lauren lacks any confidence whatsoever and clearly shows it.

I am a hardcore country fan, and I can probably safely assume that to you "country" is Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and Taylor Swift. When it's pure pop labeled country by today's low standards. Country is Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. So we clearly have different ideas of what country is.

If you're over 19, then I am shocked and horrified.

Since when does raspy = adult sounding?
I don't care if someone sounds like a teenager or like they are 50, as long as it's GOOD.


I loathe Haley's voice, it's so ridiculously raspy and the growls she does....ugh. Terrible, not a single redeeming thing about her voice.

I prefer female singers to have a smooth voice; Carrie Underwood for example. I only listen to maybe 5 of her songs tops thinking off the top of my head, but her voice is fantastic and one of my favorites out there. Or if you want to stay in this season of American Idol, then Pia. She was fantastic, far and away the best as far as I'm concerned.

Yes sir. Haley blows Lauren out of the water and its not even close. Me and Diesel had a similar argument last year where he liked this girl names Katie who was young with a younger sounding voice while I liked Siobhan who was more mature and had pipes and had soul. I guess it depends on who u liked. By the way Siobhan made it further than Katie to lol. Got Em!!
