The codec's not the problem....VC-1 is fine, at high bitrates. And pretty much all of Warner's releases are VC-1. Problem is, they rarely get above 20mbps.

Don't get me wrong...AVC is pretty much always better for film, but we can't blame VC-1 for the not-so-astonishing encodes Warner has done so far...
