I work in Media at a store in Texas (for privacy I'd like to keep a certain degree of anonymity). I'm really looking forward to the next dvd pull. Hopefully we can start flexing Blu over into the red section soon. Right now it's split even with three sections each. I may even try to start the transition this week by condensing HD-DVD if I can get approval. No sense pretending they have a chance anymore.

Find the planogram. Most stores dont have an even display. My store's media section go by plano and as such has way more blu space than hd.

I'm a merchandise supervisor in a South Florida BB.

The last shipment of high-def movies in was so lop-sided it was sad. We got 1 (yes ONE) copy of 300 (I think is what it was) for HD and a lot of Blu titles. I need to convince our media people to start 'misplacing' red stuff

this one employee at a magnolia store here in houston claimed a year ago HD DVD would win regardless becasue of the biggest porn contract signed for exclusive rights for HD DVD to be the sole content provider. He assured me bluray would lose. Plus bragged that "we at magnolia are highly trained professionals who know nothing but the highs and lows about home theater and technology"

boy was he an idiot and had no clue
