There are a few great movies coming out for Februrary. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if they were post poned due to the PS3 launch:

February 12, 2007

* Ghandi
* Legends of the Fall
* Replacement Killers
* Sense and Sensibility

February 26, 2007

* The Crow
* Donnie Brasco
* FIFA World Cup: All the Goals of Germany 2006
* Gattaca
* Saw: Uncut Version
* Spy Game
* Stormbreaker
* U-571
* Underworld: Special Extended Edition
* Valiant

I thought that "Spy Game" was a Universal Picture.

This is due to european market there are some exclusive distributors who can release some of Universal titles in blu-ray like one mentioned here.
Plus lionsgate movies can be found on HD-DVD like Total Recall which is released on Blu-Ray in North America.

I hate this exclusivity distribution because i live in middle-east Region B like European region.Hopefully region coded will not be applied so i can still import my titles from US.But i already know some are region coded others are not.
Recently i read an article that most backup catalog titles will be region free except for the new ones.

So i'm a Blu-ray Support.

Good news! "The Crow" is an absolute favorite of mine. I own the 2 Disc Collectors' Series DVD set from Miramax and this has absolutely stunning image quality for a stan def release. I am sure, though, that blu-ray will still offer visible improvement of this extremely dark movie.

Hope the European release will be region-free but I doubt it as it is Disney and I think they are strong supporters of region coding.

If it's through Disney then we have nothing to worry about. A big title like that will make its way overseas in due time. Us cheapskates will just have to be a little patient.
